We love our customers needing Accutron repair, so feel free to call during normal business hours. Most 214 models are $210 and 218 models are $245...not $1000 plus like a competitor.

Henry Encarnacion, Bulova's head repair person extraordinaire for decades, has seen my Accutron repair work and fully approved. And, I fix all of the accutrons in the world's largest accutron collector's collection. He has hundreds.
There is not an "OFFICIAL" Accutron repair site but MyBob.net's repairs are recommended by thousands. Nearly 10000 accutrons repaired single-handedly to date!!! All repairs guaranteed for a full year, as new. Please do not send any boxes which you want to keep...Accutron boxes or otherwise, as I do not keep them for return.
Accutron Repair, Spaceview Repair, Astronaut Accutron Repair, and Restoration for your cherished Accutron, Accutron Spaceview and Accutron Astronaut Watches
There's a reason why some Accutron repairers don't list their prices. And when they do, it's not complete until you receive their estimate, having already paid their diagnosis fee. Once you have their estimate in hand I promise you'll be shocked but you will be shocked when you realize their usual $1000 to $1400 or more quote is far too much to spend on your Accutron's repair since most can be accomplished with a standard $210 service for 214 and $245 for 218 models. I do not charge a diagnosis fee as a competitor does. It only takes a couple of minutes to determine what is needed. My client base currently includes 20 countries and every state in the U.S. When another site gives you a price for service, you will find out when you try them that that service fee is only the tip of the iceberg. They will give you a list of parts needing to be replaced (although they don't) getting you up quite high on repair costs. And when they say they purchased all of Bulova's Accutron parts, it isn't true either because I know the gentleman who did years ago before passing. He was known as the Accutron Man and he went right to Bulova, loading a truck of parts out of their dumpster. Also, when they say they don't charge a fee for restoration of case components like the case back, battery hatch or crown, it isn't true either because they build that into the overall cost of the repair and that's part of the reason why their quotes always end up being in the $1000 plus range. I've seen many quotes they had given in writing to customers who didn't want to pay that much who then sent their Accutron to me for repair once they had their estimate. Here's a copy of one of their estimates...something you wouldn't want to see...an $1800 repair...Seriously, $17.50 for a screw (a part worth pennies) and $485 for a coil ? You'll know what I'm talking about when you get one of their quotes...and then you'll know what to do with that. Service a movement...they charge $346 and I charge $210. Additional complication...they charge $65 and I charge $0. Coil...they charge $485 and I charge $300 (if it's really needed, only 1 in 20 are). Sweep pinion...they charge $211.50 and I charge $50 (if it's really needed). Missing pawl safety guard...they charge $211.50 and I charge $0. Safety guard screw..they charge $17.50 and I charge $0. Hands, they charge $115.90 and I charge $50 (if you want them swapped). Cheap genuine lizard strap...they charge $26.95 even if you didn't ask for one.
Here's a copy of one of their quotes...
And when they say they are recommended by Bulova for Accutron repairs, that isn't true either. Call Bulova and ask. Here's Bulova's repair department phone number: (305) 262-4888.
Feel free to call or email. Sometimes, depending on how many Accutrons are currently in for repair, it may take me a day to reply but I will always get back to you.
Now accepting Accutron 214 trade-ins with good coils for a $150 credit towards repair or $80 for a 218 with good coils, call for details, 309.287.2627 or email@example.com.
If you would like to contact me directly about Accutron Repair, Accutron Spaceview Repair, or Astronaut Accutron Repair, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 309.287.2627. Please feel free to fill out the accutron repair form, or be sure to include all of your contact information in the box. Don't feel as if you must talk to me before I do a repair. I'm fine with that but you can save yourself some time just by shipping it and I recommend US Priority. I go to my p.o. every Friday, check packages in over the weekend and will report back the following Monday.
If you call, I won't be able to return your call until after 4pm Central and possibly a day later as I'm constantly glued to my bench...I will respond to emails and voicemails at the end of the day. I would be happy to help you with your Accutron Repair, Accutron Spaceview Repair or Astronaut Accutron Repair. I'm very busy with repairs and try to keep up with phone and email messages constantly. I'll always get back to you as quickly as possible. I receive a lot of voicemails and emails so getting back immediately can be difficult, but I promise if you can be patient I will get back to you. If you leave a message over the weekend, I'll get back to you the following Monday.
If you've shipped me an Accutron for repair and I have tried to contact you via email and/or telephone, and you do not respond to me I'll have no alternative but to put your accutron into my parts bin after 6 months time. So, please by sure to keep in touch. I probably have 25 here now, sitting in a box, which have been here as long as 2 years because I haven't been able to contact their owners.
This is cool. I recently repaired an Accutron, which was his, for the son of Dr. Ralph A. Alpher , recipient of The National Medal of Science Award, presented by President George W. Bush. Dr. Alpher is the gentleman who created "The Big Bang Theory". "For his unprecedented work in the areas of nucleosynthesis, for the prediction that universe expansion leaves behind background radiation, and for providing the model for the Big Bang Theory."--2005, George W. Bush. Copyright (c) Victor S. Alpher, Ph.D.
